March in the Parade!
Sign-up now to be a parade participant and secure your place in the parade line-up. Groups and individuals are welcome!   Irish Dancers

There is NO CHARGE for individuals or groups to march in the parade. The parade committee is accepting registrations to participate in the parade from local organizations including bands, sports teams, cheerleaders, dance teams, cultural and ethnic groups, civic groups, non-profit groups, etc. To secure a spot in the parade line-up, please complete the Participant Form(PDF) or submit your information here:

Assembly Area
The parade assembly will begin at 10:00am at the parking lot at the corner of Wilmington and Lenoir Streets adjacent to the Raleigh Convention Center. See the "Parade Route" link to view the assembly area.

Parking Information
Parking of non-parade vehicles is not permitted in the Assembly Area. The only vehicles that are permitted to park in the Assembly Area are those vehicles traveling on the parade route. Parade participants should either park on city streets or in downtown parking garages. There is no fee on the weekends to park in these parking garages.

There are parking garages near the Assembly Area. One parking garage is located at Salisbury and Lenoir Streets and another at Wilmington and Cabarrus Streets. There are a number of parking garages near Moore Square where the parade ends. There is one at the corner of Blount and Hargett Streets and another adjacent to the downtown Bus Station between Blount and Wilmington Streets on Martin Street.
